Jio Apps Store is in many ways similar to the other app store you're probably used to. It offers a variety of apps for all uses of games and much more. It does things a bit differently though. Rather than also offering music and videos it focuses more on high-quality recommendations on picking out the best that's on offer. considering this and its similarities to the operating system's existing app store it's best looked at as a potential upgrade.
Game-Rich But Not App-Light
The most striking thing about Jio Apps Store is its selection of games. There's more games on offer and more games displayed prominently than on the standard Play Store. That said you can still find the usual variety of apps here all but the most obscure and a few that aren't carried elsewhere (at least not on stock app stores). Though the recommendation feature does end up tailored a bit towards your preferences as far as we can tell it starts with a slant towards games.
But Is It An Upgrade?
That depends. If you like what Jio Apps Store recommends to you so particularly if you enjoy phone games you'll probably find the app about as good or better than the app store you're currently using. Otherwise you might want to take a pass although there's no harm in giving Jio a try.
